Wir heißen allen Neulinge, die uns auf dem Japantag 2026 entdeckt haben und zu uns gestoßen sind, herzlich willkommen!
Für euch und alle Anderen, die sich für Kimonos interessieren, bietet Luise Helmecke, Gründerin des Kimono Club Hamburg, einen Vortrag zu den einzelnen Bestandteilen eines Kimono-Outfits an, damit ein Grundverständnis für den Aufbau entsteht und ihr danach die Sachen benennen und selbst einkaufen könnt!
Im Anschluss besteht bei einem gemütlichen Teetrinken die Möglichkeit, gemeinsam Kimono oder Yukata anzuprobieren.
Die Türen öffnen ab ca. 17:45 Uhr, der Vortrag beginnt kurz nach 18 Uhr. Der Eintritt ist frei, Spenden sind willkommen.

Kimono Club Hamburg Talk: Kimono for Beginners, A to Z – from Asanoha to Zori

A warm welcome to everyone who discovered us at Japan Day 2026 and has joined us since! Anyone else with an interest in kimono is very welcome, too!
In this introductory talk, Luise Helmecke, founder of Kimono Club Hamburg, will guide you through the individual elements of a kimono outfit. You’ll gain a basic understanding of how everything fits together, learn the key terms, and be better prepared to identify and shop for kimono items yourself.
After the talk, we’ll gather for a relaxed cup of tea, with the chance to try on kimono or yukata together.

Doors open at around 5:45 p.m., and the talk will begin shortly after 6:00 p.m.
Admission is free; donations are welcome.
