For today’s youth, TikTok is not only a platform for entertainment, but increasingly also an important source of information.

In this context, the TikTok Shoah Commemoration & Education initiative, a collaborative effort of over twenty Holocaust Memorial Sites throughout the world with academic support from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has created hundreds of TikTok videos that can and are being used in an educational context to teach about the Shoah.

On the occasion of International Holocaust Commemoration Day 2024, we will be offering a virtual memorial training event to introduce teachers and educators to this content and how it can be used in an educational context.
