Want to chat in English in a relaxed and informal setting? Join us at Moth Club! Bring your handcrafts (knitting, crochet, drawing) if you like to keep your hands busy or just come along for a chat and nice company.

Why Moth?

MOTH stands for My Own Two Hands – the idea being that you can bring along some handmade activities to keep your hands busy while practising English.

We take inspiration from the concept of Parallel Play to create a low-pressure environment. We know that chatting in a foreign language is hard!

Who are we?

We"re Liz and Saz, a pair of Brit and Kiwi friends living in Hamburg.

We"ve created Moth Club as a way to build local community and offer a space for a couple of the things we like best: Having a natter* and pottering around** with crafts!

Warum Moth?

MOTH steht für "My Own Two Hands" – die Idee dahinter ist, dass du handwerkliche Aktivitäten mitbringen kannst (Stricken, Häkeln, Zeichnen), um deine Hände zu beschäftigen, während du Englisch übst.

Wir lassen uns vom Konzept des "Parallel Play" inspirieren, um eine entspannte Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Wir wissen, dass es schwer ist, sich in einer Fremdsprache zu unterhalten!

Die Veranstaltung findet auf dem Unterdeck, Ebene 0, statt.
