Robert Dick ist einer der herausragendsten und weltweit führenden Flötisten der Gegenwart.

Dick gab und gibt nicht nur als Musiker wichtige avantgardistische Impulse, sondern er hat auch ein umfangreiches Œuvre an eigenen Kompositionen erschaffen, die den größten Teil dieses Konzertes ausmachen.
