Vadims Dmitrijevs (1998) is a Latvian jazz trombone player and songwriter. Performing and studying jazz music as a Dr.Langner Jazz Master alumni of HfMT, Vadims has managed to skyrocket his career thanks to his unique trombone virtuosity and musical language.

Former member of orchestras such as Latvian Radio Big Band and European Radio Jazz Orchestra Vadims has also gained popularity back home and abroad for his original music which is often played across northern European countries. His debut album “Chapter I”, released in 2021 has gathered positive reviews in Latvia and Europe.

Since then Vadims has been actively composing a Bigband program, writing songs and lyrics in collaboration with multiple singers. For his final recital Vadims is preparing a special program of his original compositions touching every music style and genre he has worked with during his masters studies. From duo to bigband.
