"Khaled Barakeh is a Berlin-based Syrian artist and cultural activist. He approaches his creative practice as a tool of social change focussing on topics relating to power structures in context of identity, culture and history. In an artist lecture Barakeh presents one of his recent projects: Syria Cultural Index – an online platform dedicated to providing support to Syrian artists around the globe."
