bit.ly Mr Hawkins will hold his highly insightful, public and free-of-charge lecture titled “Mindfulness, Wellbeing & Social-Emotional Learning in Education” in the ISH Aula at Hemmingstedter Weg 130 on January 12 at 7pm.
Mr. Hawkins has worked with adolescents in various contexts for 30+ years - as teacher, school head, and social worker in the UK, Africa, and Europe. Until recently, and for the past 10 years, he was Middle School Principal at the International School of Prague. He has taught mindfulness to teenagers, teachers and parents since 2010. He currently manages Partnership Development for the Mindfulness in Schools Project (UK) and is a lead teacher trainer for their “.b(dotb)” course for teenagers. He also works independently as a consultant and is a regular speaker, writer and presenter on mindfulness and social-emotional learning in education.
